A Sense of Wonder is an educational organization dedicated to providing nature and arts programs to elementary school age students in the Monterey County area. Click here for information on outreach programs for K-8 grade levels in Monterey County.
Our programs are meant to stimulate a student's interest in science and the arts by complimenting and enhancing material typically covered in the classroom. Our programs are age appropriate and based on educational standards. Activities and hands-on projects are an integral part of our programs. Most of all, our programs are meant to be fun and offer an experience your child will remember forever!
Teachers are Cynthia Lorence and Debbie Baldridge. Cynthia is a professional naturalist with 16 years experience and an advanced degree in Biology. Debbie has had 13 years of experience as a high school art teacher and an advanced degree in Art. Both have been teaching in the Monterey County area for nine years.
